A 31-second vertical Halloween film for Forzagen Forzawhey Pro Halloween Edition, made for Mexico. A courier in a skeleton costume rides a pumpkin spice cake through the fog to a mausoleum, and whatever lives inside takes the delivery and the rider with it.
The challenge
Seasonal flavor posts usually stop at a tub with pumpkins around it. This one had to feel like a short horror film first, and still land the flavor, the protein and the calories without anyone saying a word about the product.
The idea
Tell it as a delivery gone wrong. The cake is the flavor: it rides on the scooter, crosses the graveyard and ends up on the altar next to the tub, so the audience connects pumpkin spice cake to Forzawhey before the label is ever readable.
Visual build
Cameras mounted to the scooter, hard backlight through fog and a single grab at the door carry the first half. The tub drops in as a silhouette among candles and is revealed with macro passes instead of cuts. The Spanish titles are 3D letters built into each shot, lit by the scene and hidden behind what stands in front of them, with a full sound design pass under the cut.
