02What the site uses
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Session storage works in a similar way but is cleared when you close the tab. Here is everything this site can store:
| Name | Type | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
as-booted | Session storage | After Standard | Remembers that the intro sequence has already played during this visit. | Until you close the tab |
as-transition | Session storage | After Standard | Runs the page-to-page transition, then removes itself. | A few seconds |
__cf_bm, cf_clearance | Cookie (strictly necessary) | Cloudflare | Security. Set only when Cloudflare needs to tell people from automated traffic. | 30 minutes to 1 year, set by Cloudflare |
Web Analytics | No cookie | Cloudflare | Counts visits in aggregate. Stores nothing on your device. | — |
All of these are strictly necessary for the site to work or stay secure, or store nothing at all, so the law doesn't require us to ask for consent first.
03Third parties
Google Drive films
Some full-length films play in a Google Drive player. It loads only after you press play on a film. Once it loads, Google may set its own cookies and receive your IP address, as described in Google's cookie policy. If you don't press play, nothing from Google loads.
Email and WhatsApp
Email and WhatsApp buttons open your own email app or WhatsApp. Anything that happens there is covered by those services' own policies.
04Your choices
You can block or delete cookies and site data at any time in your browser settings. The site will keep working. The only thing that may not play is a film hosted on Google Drive, if you block Google's cookies.
If you prefer less motion, turning on "reduce motion" in your device settings also turns off the intro and page transitions.
05Changes and contact
If we ever add anything that needs your consent, we will ask first and update this page. Questions? Write to afterstandardstudios@gmail.com.
